May.28--THE Suez Canal Authority has advised that the names and tonnage of all vessels due to arrive on August 5-6 - the date of the opening ceremony of the new canal project must be declared in advance.
Agents must provide a list of vessels' names and tonnage calling at Port Said and Suez anchorage area on this date prior to July 10, reported GAC Hot Port News.
Any vessel not declared to the Suez Canal Authority prior to this date will not be allowed to transit on August 6.
