Four small box ships to be acquired by Shreyas Shipping and Logistics

 Apr.3--INDIA's container feeder shipping line, Shreyas Shipping and Logistics has unveiled plans to purchase four vessels by 2017 that will add to its existing fleet of six owned vessels trading on the Indian coast.

 
"The board of directors of the company have approved a plan for acquisition of four container vessels ranging from 1,700 TEU to 2,500 TEU over a period of 18-24 months," the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), reports the Times of India.
 
Commencing operations in 1994 the carrier feeders containers between Indian ports and international transhipment ports such as Dubai, Jebel Ali, Colombo and Singapore.
