Jul.21--SARJAK Containers Lines, India's leading ODC (over dimension cargo) logistics solutions provider, has commenced operations offering a full suite of global ODC logistics solutions to and from Japan.
To underline the importance of the Japanese market to Sarjak's business operations, a high powered delegation, consisting of managing director Ashish Sheth of Sarjak Container Lines and president of business development for the Far East and South East Asia Soumen Majumdar, visited Japan.
The company heads were accompanied by executives, who attended a series of press conferences in Japan organised by Sarjak's local agent Mitsui-Soko.
The Sarjak delegation also took the opportunity to pay a courtesy call to the managing director and senior executive of port business, Mitsui-Soko, Makoto Tawaraguchi.
Mr Tawaraguchi expressed his pleasure to meet the Sarjak delegation and also said that he eagerly looked forward to an extended, sustained and profitable business relationship with Sarjak.
The press conference was well attended by leading Japanese newspapers and also important publications related to the shipping and logistics industry.
Senior press correspondents, eagerly posed questions to the Sarjak management to know more about the company and also gathered information on what plans the company has for the Japanese market.
Ashish Sheth, in his press speech, lucidly put forth the highlights of Sarjak's operations around the globe. He also made quite a few pertinent points, as to how Japan is now an integral part of Sarjak's global growth plans.
Mr Sheth also mentioned that Sarjak, with its own office in Japan and represented by Mitsui-Soko, can offer fully-fledged import and export ODC services from all the main base ports in Japan, including Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka, Kobe, Hakata and Moji.
He expressed confidence, that any customer around the globe, needing to move ODC consignments to or from Japan can now expect an enhanced service response and also a more local approach to their over dimension cargo movement solutions.
